MOVIE REVIEWS AND RATINGS This section contains the list of all the movies I have ever seen (well, at least the ones I remember). You can browse the listings by year, by title or by rating. If you can't find a particular movie, use the search box, as I always use the original title. In other words, you won't find "Run Lola Run" in the "R" section, but rather under "L", because its real title is "Lola rennt". The same is true for year of release. I always use the year of the original release. For instance "Il Postino" was released in 1994 in Italy, but in 1995 in North America, and in 1996 in some European countries. WHAT MY RATINGS MEAN I have deciced to use a letter-grading system (which is used by some schools and universities), because it fits well with the system from MovieCritic.com, a site that used to offer a personal enjoyment prediction service. Rating MovieCritic.com x/10 Explanation A+ 10 From this chart, you can see that all the movies I like are rated C+ and over (people often send me e-mails to ask me why I didn't like a movie when the rating is C+). Basically, when I watch a movie, its rating starts at C+. As the movie progresses, I change my rating up and down. However, my "final" rating can sometimes take several days to be determined, as I ponder over the impact that the movie has had on me.
